The pay for this role is $19.50/hour. This position operates from Tuesday-Saturday, 7am-4pm and is a fixed permanent schedule. Please make sure that you are submitting your most up to date resume for consideration.
Job Summary This position is responsible for supervising team members and assisting with managerial duties for the Grow/AG plants, rooms, and crew members. Supports and adheres to the company's Standards of Conduct & Discipline.
Job Duties/Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. Opens the facility and preps the work site for employees for opening operations.
Closes and secures the facility at the end of day operations.
Supervises department crew members:
Delegates daily and weekly tasks
Tracks attendance/breaks
Tracks production rates
Coaching and training
Operating compliance system
Creates and maintains various production sheets/software
Ensures department Leads properly delegate tasks, coach, guide and ensure crew members comply with company standards.
Regularly checks emails, basecamps, and telegrams to stay on top of announcements, order changes and updates.
Evaluates production data to identify high and low performers; works with department leads to coach low performers to reach goals.
Attends Lead and Supervisor meetings.
Ensures that machinery and equipment are being used correctly, cleaned and well maintained.
Sends daily end of shift reports via basecamp and/or emails.
Works together with other leaders and department leads, passes down instructions and guidance to next shift clearly and concisely.
Communicates personnel notes and partners with management including; recommending performance/disciplinary action, schedule changes and/or position changes.
Conducts employee performance reviews for leads and crew members.
Informs management to determine labor needs, delegate extra help or request back-up.
Request supplies for replenishment.
Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.
Maintains a clean and organized workspace and holds crew members accountable for their cleanliness.
Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
Must be 21 years old or older.
Education/Experience:to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
One (1) year experience in processing or managing a production facility.
Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 10 pounds, and grasp.
Frequentlywalk, reach, talk and hear.
Occasionallyclimb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 25 pounds, taste or smell.
Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)
