Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are in search of a Staffing Director, to work with the Vice President, who possesses excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor. The ideal candidate should be intelligent, dedicated, and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently. It is crucial for this individual to uphold the professional image of the executive office. They should be outgoing, articulate, and adept at multitasking with a positive attitude. The successful candidate will have the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively, exercise good judgment, and be an effective communicator who can collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- With minimal guidance, the ideal candidate will assume responsibility for planning, organizing, and executing projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Leading strategic planning processes ensuring the alignment of ideas between the Vice President and other leaders.
- Ensure the Vice President’s involvement in key decision-making processes.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Vice President, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and ensuring team members are prepared for said meetings.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, conferences, and special events, handling logistics and providing necessary materials and support.
- Assist in the coordination and monitoring of training rotations as well as supporting capacity assessments with the directors.
- Manage the Vice President’s communication and correspondence as needed.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, always maintaining confidentiality.

- Working with the human resources department to address potential staffing issues.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
QUALIFICATIONS
MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN OR LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENT FOR THIS POSITION.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred.
- 8 years’ experience as a senior director with an assertive, take-charge personality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills should be a “self-starter” who is inquisitive, intuitive, and multi-tasked oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise messages.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing projects to meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong PC proficiency in software applications to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously utilizing efficient and effective time management skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in dealing with confidential information.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Salary range for this role is between $100,000 - $175,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
