Summary:

This is a 9-month contract for this position.


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven team member capable of project managing the expansion of our cultivation and manufacturing facility in Lake Wales, FL. This person is highly organized, with exceptional communication skills capable of collecting, interpreting, summarizing and disseminating information from multiple functional areas within the company, including Construction, Compliance, HR, IT, Marketing, Finance, Sales & Distribution, Cultivation and Executive sponsors. This person will manage assignments according to timelines, create weekly dashboards, host scrum meetings, schedule site visits, and attend meetings with third party vendors and contractors. Solutions bottlenecks, remedies disputes, and provides viable alternatives within changing conditions.

Responsibilities: 
  1. Create and Maintain Timelines, Milestones and Deadlines
    1. Establish clear timelines with dates and major milestones that are easily consumed by internal customers to keep people aligned and accountable to deadlines.
    2. Manage different functional workstreams so they cohesively work together.
    3. Identify major gating items and contingencies to streamline activities without unnecessary downtime.
    4. Identify possible hazards and bottlenecks and understand how they will affect different workstreams.
  2. Host Weekly Scrum Meetings
    1. Maintain alignment through timely and efficient meetings. Adjust cadence and format as needed.
    2. Distribute agendas, facilitate healthy discussions and distribute meeting minutes and action items.
    3. Manage invite list to include major stakeholders and bring on functional leaders when needed.
  3. Update Actual Spend vs Approved Budgets
    1. Work with operational planning and CAPEX planning leaders to understand budgeted amounts.
    2. Record spend to date and identify possible over/underspend.
    3. Provide budget reporting.
    4. Submit plans to CAPEX Steering Committee for additional funding. Coordinate with functional leaders to develop plans.
  4. Update and Distribute Weekly Dashboards
    1. Keep company leaders informed by providing timely weekly dashboard updates.
  5. Collaborate with Functional Leaders
    1. Meet regularly with functional leaders to remind them of deadlines and understand challenges they face.
    2. Form solutions and develop contingency plans to help prioritize or alleviate pressure points.
    3. Communicate possible delays to adjacent functional parties. Pivot as needed.
  6. Schedule site visits with vendors, landlords, partners, city officials, utilities and internal employees

Objectives & Key Results:
  1. Execute on expansion initiatives scheduled through Q3 2025
    • KR1: Ensure all workstreams have signed-off on their activities for each sub-project.
  2. Maximize efficiency with timely execution and prudent spending
    • KR1: Major milestones are met under original deadlines
    • KR2: Stay within 10% of original budgets
