This position is a direct report to the Applications Group Products Supervisor. Working with the Principal Product Consultant, delivers SAP Security application support for a large, complex portfolio of SAP applications. Provides technical expertise, leadership, and consultative support to the business client, IT management, developers and staff in risk assessments, architecture, configuration design, implementation and operational aspects of information security plans, procedures and products with a focus on the SAP environments including ECC, CRM, Business Warehouse, NetWeaver, GRC 10.1 and other SAP based applications.
This includes responsibility for the SAP systems and ensuring proper security support, and problem resolution input for the SAP applications. As the SAP Security Lead Consultant this role will:
• Design, develop and maintain SAP security management and architecture practices across multiple SAP environments in addition to providing solution recommendations.
• Advocate for exploring and leveraging standard solutions first.
• Ensure compliance with government and corporate security guidelines.
• Develop, administer and execute preventive security maintenance programs, oversee problem management, perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans, and administer and report on security SLAs.
• Provide technical expertise, leadership, and consultative support to client, IT management, developers and staff in risk assessments , architecture, design, implementation and operational aspects of information security plans, procedures and products with a focus on the SAP environments including ECC, CRM, Business Warehouse, NetWeaver, GRC 10.1 and other SAP based applications.
• Designs, develops and maintains SAP user management and security architecture across multiple SAP environments in addition to providing solution recommendations.
• Ensures compliance with government and corporate security guidelines including Segregation of Duties (SoD), Sarbanes -Oxley (SOX) and Privacy related standards.
• Develops and implements SAP security policies, processes, architecture, training, and communications.
• Perform access control and design account security for information resources within the SAP landscape that conforms to company process controls.
• Support the completion of scheduled reports (e.g., daily, monthly, quarterly) supporting internal controls leveraging SAP security mechanisms.
• Advises on information security opportunities that can be utilized or adapted to meet business area objectives in leveraging SAP related systems.
• Develop, test and implement security plans, awareness communications, products and control techniques for SAP application initiatives and operational support.
• Provides leadership in the evaluation, development and implementation of security standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environment (e.g., firm-wide, distributed, client server systems, and e-applications) with a focus on the SAP environments.
• Provides technical support and training to the Information Security staff and assists Management in the development of the overall project plans and timetables.
• Investigate and recommend appropriate corrective actions for information security incidents.
• Maintain an awareness of existing and proposed security standard setting groups, State and Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information security.
• Identifies regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards and procedures, and recommends appropriate changes.
• Must be available for callout 24 X 7
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• A minimum of 6 years of related work experience in the technology field
• A minimum of 4 years working with and supporting SAP applications with responsibility for security and oversite
• Extensive knowledge SAP Security design, administration and configuration for Finance suite of products
• Must Demonstrate leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experiences
• Must demonstrate a strong understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes
• Requires broad knowledge of the Finance/Accounting functions and applications, and of system and technology alternatives
• Must have the ability to gain knowledge of process dependencies and linkage across the business, especially in finance, quickly to effectively assess and support current needs and align to future growth strategies.
• Must be proficient in IT analysis methodologies (i.e. process flow definition, data flow diagramming , etc.)
• Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to provide analytical conclusions and support recommended action/decisions with clarity, adjusting to meet the needs of the audience (technical v non-technical business partners/clients) • Must have the ability to maintain strong client care relationships with integrity and follow through
• Must demonstrate the ability to ascertains knowledge of process dependencies and linkage across the business to effectively assess and support current needs and future strategic growth
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal and team building skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
• Must be a self-starter with the demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical concepts Desired Qualifications:
• Technical/software certification such as AWS certification, etc.
• Relevant technical acumen or experience in computer programming, development or coding
• Understanding of basic financial principles including experience with project financial budgeting and planning
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• Graduate degree or MBA
• Experience with ITIL & CMMI
